What other sport should I take up?

Tuesday, March 30th, 2010
nunya asked:

I am currently boxing a few times a week and really enjoy it. I am trying to get back in shape, better than average shape is where I would like to be. I play basketball once in a great while also. I am looking to take up another sport that is fun, would help with conditioning, and is a good way to meet people, and I dont’ want to have to spend hundreds of dollars on equipment to do it. Any suggestions?

KILLA CAL asked:

ok im havin a discussion of which is better in general with my roomates and they say hockey is better cause u can fight and hit and do all this stuff that is much harder and i agreed with it if ur pinning it up against the nba but college basketball is muc better and they dont agree cause they think it is easy to just pick up a ball and play, they also said that more people generalize with basketball cause it is cheap to play and hockey is very exspensive with ice time and equipment….OK to u which is better hockey or college basketball

Golf and sports equipment in Australia?

Sunday, January 17th, 2010
Sarah asked:

Our family is considering moving to Australia from the US. We are amateur golfers and would like to continue. Could someone from down under give us some tips on golf over there? Where would one buy a nice set of clubs or should we bring our own? In the states, there are many online golf equipment stores one can buy at very good prices. We can buy a nice Taylormade set for USD500. If we want to visit a store to look at clubs, we can go to Sports Authority or Golf Smith or some others. Are there large sporting goods stores in Australia? The kids also like fishing, basketball, tennis, badminton, so the sporting goods store is one of the first places we need to go when we get there. Would appreciate someone knowledgeable to give us some ideas.
