Need help with baseball bat size for me?please help?

Sunday, March 28th, 2010
platinumxx2 asked:

My new baseball season starts in April, and pretty soon i’m going to start buying all new equipment. I am 12 years old(going to be 13 in February before season starts), 5 ft 2 in, about 110 lbs. Although, I have a skinny appearance, I am pretty medium inside. It needs to be a wooden bat for games. I prefer light bats, but I have no clue how this size sytem works.

Thanks

Lamar

Portable basketball hoop – need a permit?

Friday, March 26th, 2010
mildepiphany asked:

My neighbor installed a portable basketball hoop on the easement gravel area of his property and a public street; It is also right on the edge of of my property and my driveway. If it were to fall over it could land in my driveway (possibly landing on a car or person) in fact as it is at least 10 feet high – it really looks to be about 12 feet high. It’s been left there as though a permanent structure. I don’t think it’s been set-up properly as he is using bags of dirt to stabilize the base. We have been known to have some very high winds here too – playground equipment not property installed has been know to get blown over. I have heard that in general if a structure to be erected and can fall down, you need a permit.

My zoning department can take a while to get call back. I am actually wondering if anyone has had similar issues and has possibly heard if a portable basketball hoop requires a permit.
