How do I find funding to persue my golf career?

Saturday, February 27th, 2010
AndyLee asked:

I am very interested in golf. I started about 3 months ago, I play on a regular basis about 3 times a week. I am continually getting better and working with a pro to perfect my swing. I am looking to find some type of help with the funding for lessons, training, equipment, ect. I am mainly looking to pursue golf for college and possibly and hopefully further it to the Nationwide tour.
Also, I am 21 years old, I appreciate the advice, but I don’t think I can get into the junior leagues, but maybe the adult amateurs, do you think I’m starting too late? I mean I learn very quickly, I’m competitive (even though sometimes I think I’m too hard on myself) and the main thing right now is that I am determined. I am about to spend 2 grand at golf tech for 6 months of weekly lessons and unlimited practice…..In comparison from the pros to the good amateurs, what is the competiton like in the tournaments.

Thanks for all of your help!

Jacqueline

internetgolfprofessional.com The TsylorMade R9 TP Irons feature RBS shafts as standard and are built for power. The classic head design makes for a good looking iron. Mark Crossfield hits the TP iron to see how it fels and flys.
